Benguerra Island in Mozambique is the second-largest island in the Bazaruto Archipelago. The island covers approximately 55 km\u00b2 (11 km long by 5.5 km wide) and is located 14 km off the coast. Benguerra Island features forests, savannas, freshwater lakes, and wetlands, creating a diverse ecosystem that supports a wide variety of flora and fauna.
